Loading and unloading shipping containers
A container that is going interstate or overseas will be lifted, trucked and tilted. What is inside has to be packed so it cannot move. We load floor to ceiling, brace the gaps and wrap anything that could rub.
What this covers
Unloading is the reverse: taking it all out in order, placing it in the house and getting the container empty before the pick-up window closes.
- 20 and 40 foot container loading
- Unloading on delivery and placing in the home
- Bracing and tie-down so loads stay put
- Blankets and shrink wrap on furniture
- Loading at your home, a depot or a storage yard
- Quick turnarounds for timed container drops
How a job runs
- 1
Tell us the container and the date
Size, where it will be sitting and the window you have for loading.
- 2
Load and brace
We fill the container in a planned order and brace the final wall so the load cannot shift.
- 3
Unload at the other end
If the container lands in Perth, we meet it and put everything inside.
Good to know
Can you load in a tight window?
Yes. Tell us the window and we bring enough people to meet it.
Do you provide the container?
No. You arrange the container through your shipping or storage company and we do the loading.
